We started making our own wine from our awesome fruit here in 2010, that was the “first legal crush” on the ranch. We branded our wines “Black and White” to reflect the old days and style of wine making where the grapes were either black or white.
As Third Generation grape growers and winemakers, their goals are to continue what their grandfather started, to follow their father’s vision of pioneering a new region for exceptional Pinot Noir and to continue learning about the Masút vineyard site.
They are a small boutique winery located in the Yorkville Highlands Appellation, near Anderson Valley. Their artfully made, handcrafted wines are available for tasting and purchase in their tasting room.
The bulding design incorporates several features which relate to the local agricultural architecture, including apple dryer vents that extend above the roof line, which furnishes their estate grown organic wines.
